Trump envoy Keith Kellogg heads to Kyiv for two-day visit

He will stay in Ukraine for two days — August 24 and 25.

According to the publication's sources, General Kellogg will participate in Independence Day celebrations, join a prayer breakfast, and hold meetings with Ukrainian leadership.

This information was also confirmed by Reuters White House reporter Gram Slattery.

"Ukraine envoy Keith Kellogg heads to Kyiv tomorrow, per sources, to participate in a prayer breakfast/Independence Day ceremonies. He’ll also discuss this week’s diplomatic flurry w/ leaders," he wrote on his X social media page.

The journalist added that this visit comes amid discussions between the U.S., Ukraine, and Europe about security guarantees.

• Kellogg last visited Kyiv on July 14. At that time, he met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, then-Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov, and other Ukrainian military officials.
