US envoy Kellogg blasts Russia's 'egregious' attacks on Kyiv
U.S. Special Representative Keith Kellogg says that Russia's massive attacks on Ukraine threaten the peace sought by President Donald Trump

Kellogg noted that Russia carried out the second-largest air attack since the start of the full-scale war, using 600 drones and 31 missiles.
"The targets? Not soldiers and weapons but residential areas in Kyiv—blasting civilian trains, the EU & British mission council offices, and innocent civilians. These egregious attacks threaten the peace that the U.S. president is pursuing," he emphasized.
- On the evening of 27 August, the Russian army launched strike UAVs against Ukrainian territory; later missile launches were reported. In Kyiv, there were casualties as a result of the attack. Eighteen people were killed, including four children.
- As a result of the Russian attack in Kyiv the buildings of the European Union Delegation and the British Council were damaged.
- Ukraine's Foreign Affairs Ministry has condemned Russia's August 28 massive strike on Ukraine.
