Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot reported this.
“Another brutal night in Kyiv. Civilian buildings were damaged again, among them the EU Delegation and the British Council. Russia shows, once more, that it has no genuine will for peace. It chooses terror, destruction, and lies over dialogue,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos posted photos of the damage, writing: “I strongly condemn these brutal attacks, a clear sign that Russia rejects peace & chooses terror.”

She expressed solidarity with EU staff, their families, and all Ukrainians affected by Russian aggression.
- On the night of August 28, Russia launched 598 Shahed drones, 9 Iskanders and Kinzhal missiles at Ukraine.
