Russia masking failed summer offensive with attacks on civilians — EU top diplomat
The head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, says that Russia's recent attacks on Ukraine are a smokescreen for its failed summer offensive

She wrote about this on X.
"Russia is masking its failed summer offensive with terror attacks on Ukrainian civilians and infrastructure," Kallas wrote.
According to her, the EU continues to support Ukraine: it is finalizing the next package of sanctions, providing financing, and supplying weapons.
"Russia will not stop until forced to," Kallas stated.
- On Saturday evening, October 4, the Russian army launched attack drones over the territory of Ukraine. As a result of the attack on Zaporizhzhia, a woman was killed, and 9 other people were injured, including a teenager. In Lviv, 4 people were killed.
- Moldovan President Maia Sandu has called for an increase and acceleration of aid to Ukraine in light of Russia's recent attacks.
