Putin takes advantage of Trump’s weaknesses once again

So, as expected, Putin once again played on Trump’s weaknesses, beckoning him with a finger for a personal meeting.

And Trump gladly grabbed that finger.

It wasn’t hard, after all, since Trump is eager to meet with Putin before Putin’s meeting with Xi in Beijing on September 1–4. He wants to be first before Xi.

But it won’t happen. That can be said for sure. For the Kremlin to pivot to the West, there would have to be at least some prerequisites — and there are none, and there won’t be under Putin. China will not allow Russia to carry out such a maneuver. And the very fact of Ukraine’s existence means there will be no prerequisites for it.

Not to mention a meeting between Trump and Putin with Zelenskyy… Putin with Zelenskyy?..
