Donald Trump acts like Russian agent — Portuguese president

The Portuguese public broadcaster RTP reported the information.

At the Summer University of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) in Castelo de Vide, Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa unexpectedly addressed the international situation. In his remarks, he described Donald Trump as an example of a new style of political leadership — more emotional and focused on direct contact with citizens, without intermediaries, in a world where the balance of power has also shifted.

“And with one particularly complex issue: the leader of the world’s greatest superpower is, objectively, a Soviet, or rather Russian, agent. He functions as an agent,” the Portuguese leader said, referring to the actions of the U.S. president in the context of the war in Ukraine.

The President of Portugal emphasized that he was not referring to “an alliance based on friendship, economic, ideological, or doctrinal closeness. I am saying that, objectively, the new American leadership has strategically aided the Russian Federation.”
