'Nothing discredits Hungarian officials more than their actions': Ukraine’s MFA on Budapest’s accusations

This is reported in the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s statement published on February 13.

“Ukraine has never conducted and will never conduct any such campaigns against its partners, including neighboring Hungary. Moreover, we have no intention of interfering in the internal affairs of other countries,” the ministry’s press service reported.

The Foreign Ministry pointed out that on February 10, Kyiv warmly welcomed Levente Magyar, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. However, the purpose of his visit was “to film a provocative video with manipulative statements and discredit Ukraine’s leadership in the center of the Ukrainian capital.” The ministry emphasized that such actions only benefit Russia. In contrast, Ukraine remains committed to constructive dialogue and the principles of partnership.
