Kim Jong Un vows unlimited expansion of North Korea's nuclear power
On Monday, November 18, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un promised to strengthen the country's nuclear capabilities "without limit" amid deepening security partnerships between the U.S. and its allies in the region
Bloomberg reported the information.
According to the report, Kim made these statements during a conference with battalion commanders, urging the military to complete preparations for a potential war.
He emphasized that the United States, Japan, and South Korea are responsible for destabilizing the situation on the Korean Peninsula.
"The U.S., Japan and South Korea will never get away from the responsibility as the culprits of destroying the peace and stability of the Korean peninsula and the region,” Kim said, referring to a partnership he called an “Asian version of NATO.” “The most important and critical task for our armed forces is preparations for a war.”
Additionally, Kim accused the U.S. of prolonging the war in Ukraine, claiming that the supply of weapons to Kyiv leads to international conflicts and raises fears of a Third World War.
- According to estimates from G20 countries, North Korea could send up to 100,000 troops to support Russia in the war against Ukraine if cooperation between Pyongyang and Moscow deepens.
