
Ukrainian film producer, veteran Volodymyr Yatsenko receives French Order of Arts and Letters in Cannes
At the Marché du Film during the Cannes Film Festival, Ukrainian Armed Forces veteran and producer of The Wild Fields and Luxembourg, Luxembourg, Volodymyr Yatsenko, received one of France’s highest cultural honors

CNC Executive Director Olivier Henrard presented Ukrainian film producer Volodymyr Yatsenko with the French Order of Arts and Letters at the Marché du Film, held as part of the Cannes Film Festival.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces veteran was awarded one of France’s top cultural honors, established by the Ministry of Culture in 1957. The award recognizes significant achievements in the arts or literature, or efforts to promote them in France and globally.
Volodymyr Yatsenko is one of Ukraine’s leading producers, known for U Are the Universe, The Wild Fields, Homeward, Atlantis, Luxembourg, Luxembourg, and others. This year, he also joined the prestigious Producers on the Move program from European Film Promotion, nominated by the Ukrainian Institute.
