French PM criticizes Trump over support for Le Pen
French Prime Minister François Bayrou condemned U.S. President Donald Trump for expressing support for far-right leader Marine Le Pen, who was barred from running for president by the court

French Prime Minister made this statement in an interview with Le Parisien, reports European Pravda.
Bayrou stated that such comments from the White House leader are "interference."
"Interference has become the law of the world," said the Prime Minister.
He condemned the "international, indecent, illiberal group that decided human rights, the rule of law... should remain in the past."
Bayrou clarified that his words also refer to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin.
- On March 31, a French court barred far-right leader Marine Le Pen from running for public office after finding her guilty of embezzling EU funds to finance her far-right party.
