Journalist Tetiana Vysotska reported this to Espreso TV.

“If an agreement is reached behind our backs, it simply will not work because, for any deal or agreement, it is necessary for Europeans to implement it. You need Ukrainians to implement it,” Kallas stressed.

She added that if “someone agrees to certain conditions,” others will say, “Okay, you agreed, but we will not adhere to it.” Kallas also noted that, in such a case, Ukrainians would resist, and Europe would support them.

  • On February 13, the foreign ministers of France, Germany, Poland, Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain, Ukraine, and the EU issued a joint statement following their meeting in Paris, emphasizing the need for participation in any negotiations regarding the end of the war.
