Will Russia be ruled by Putin's double? Vitaly Portnikov's column

Japanese scholars have conducted a study that suggests that Putin uses doubles at critical moments. However, could it be that in the future Russia will also be ruled by a presidential double?

Japanese scientists from the Institute of Audio Communication conducted a study to determine whether Vladimir Putin really uses the services of look-alikes in his public activities.

As you know, the topic of the Russian dictator's doubles is often raised in the media, but we have no concrete evidence that there are indeed several Putins. We can rely either on the testimony of the head of Ukrainian military intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, or on numerous messages in Telegram channels, for which the topic of Putin's doubles has long since become not so much a sensation as a routine. However, now we are talking about a scientific study that was done with the help of artificial intelligence, about a scientific analysis of the pronunciation of certain words by the Russian leader, which, as a rule, the same person pronounces exactly the same in all situations - every speech therapist and every philologist will confirm that this opinion is correct. So, a scientific analysis of how Vladimir Putin pronounces certain words and sounds has proven that there were several Putins in at least several important situations critical to the Russian president, and of course, the most interesting are the moments when the Russian president was in Mariupol.

At the time, many said that it was unlikely that the real Vladimir Putin would have dared to travel to a city that had just been captured by the Russian forces. And we remember an unfortunate incident for Russian propaganda when a person from somewhere outside Vladimir Putin, who was surrounded by extras while filming a propaganda video for television, said that it was all a lie. These unexpected words, which were then carefully cut out by Russian propagandists, became a real verdict for this trip of the Russian president, or maybe not the president, to the occupied city.

So, Japanese scientists emphasize that Putin who was in Mariupol coincides with the other Putin who could be seen in negotiations, say, with the head of the People's Republic of China or on the Crimean Bridge, only by 18%. To draw a fairly simple conclusion, this is not the same Putin — some of them are really Vladimir Putin, and some are completely different people who are being used as a mask for the Russian dictator. And it is quite obvious that Vladimir Putin himself did not want to take part in the trip to occupied Mariupol, and the Russian president's security service could have prevented him from traveling to such a critically dangerous area, fearing possible attacks from Ukrainian special services or partisans who are trying to do everything possible to make life worse for Russians on the occupied Ukrainian lands. And we know that there are results of this activity, and many of the collaborators will never meet either Vladimir Putin himself or his doubles. Or they will meet only in a situation where Vladimir Putin does not really exist, where the Russian dictator is dead and the country is ruled by his associates with the help of his doubles. However, this is too fantastic.

There is an option that no artificial intelligence can help us explore - if we agree with the conclusions of Japanese scientists, it will become absolutely clear that we are facing situations where one day the Russian dictator is sitting at a long white table and does not allow interlocutors, even from the top Russian political leadership, to approach him, and the next day, after applying such decisive security measures, the same Putin hugs and kisses a large number of people who are unlikely to have all undergone quarantine, which would have made. And in general, for his, I would say, an exaggerated sense of security, if even on a scientific level it can be argued that there are several Putins, it means that the latest high technologies allow us to draw realistic conclusions about how the Russian model of state governance exists. And here we come to the most important point: can there be a situation where Russia is really ruled anonymously? What if the same Putin who still exists and is the president of the Russian Federation dies, and no one is told about it, not even the authors of anonymous telegram channels, and the Russian Federation is ruled by his double, the one who pronounces certain words and sounds in a completely different way? Well, if the latest technologies continue to develop, we will at least be able to understand which Putins has remained in the political arena and which have disappeared, and how many doubles the Russian president really has. The biggest problem is to understand which of these people is the real Russian president, although perhaps if we carefully analyze Putin's speech at the beginning of his rule and throughout his years in office, we will be able to solve this problem, and thus at some point we will realize that the Putin who became president of the Russian Federation 24 years ago, no longer exists, and the era of a new Putin has begun in Russia, who has nothing in common with his predecessor, but is considered by the citizens of the Russian Federation and the Russian political and military leadership to be the same Putin who can give them orders without question.

And if such a political era in Russian history does indeed begin, the Russian Federation will become the first entity in world history to be ruled, so to speak, not by the ruler himself, but by his mask - the same iron mask from the novels of Alexandre Dumas. However, everyone still has to live to see it.
