Deploying entire Patriot battery to Ukraine is dangerous - Polish National Security Bureau chief
Head of the National Security Bureau Jacek Siewiera says that the deployment of the Patriot missile system through Poland is dangerous for the country
The press service of the Polish president reports.
"We are the country through which most of the military aid passes. A country whose airspace has been violated by cruise missiles three times in the last two years, costing the lives of two citizens. We are a country that is crucial for securing not only Ukraine, but also the entire deterrence system and preparing for a possible defense on the eastern flank," said the head of the Polish National Security Bureau.
He said that he did not know the details of the American transfer of the Patriot system to Ukraine through Poland, and therefore he asked to speak with the US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan on this issue.
According to him, Patriot batteries can be divided or moved to other locations.
"But moving the entire battery is very dangerous," Jacek Siewiera added.
