Latvia hands over 500 more drones to Ukraine as part of drone coalition
Latvia sent Kyiv more than half a thousand drones, they are on their way to Ukraine
Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds has announced this.
“A parcel with more than 500 drones is on its way to Ukraine,” he wrote on social media platform X and confirmed his message with photos of packed boxes with the words ‘Drone Coalition’ on them.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces responded to this message.
“Thank you for your unwavering support! Together we are stronger!” the Ukrainian Armed Forces said.
Latvia is a member of the International Drone Coalition, which operates within the framework of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense. In total, it consists of 14 countries: in addition to Latvia and Ukraine, these are Australia, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Estonia, Italy, Canada, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, France, and Sweden.
