Germany announces €100 million aid package for Ukraine, including demining equipment, bombs, trucks
The German army will soon provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with a new military assistance package amounting to EUR 100 million

The German Ministry of Defense reported the information.
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that General Carsten Breuer, Inspector General of the German Armed Forces, visited Ukraine last week and met with Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
He promised his Ukrainian counterpart short-term military support amounting to EUR 100 million.
"In general, we are very close to what is happening in Ukraine and what Ukraine needs," said Pistorius, calling Carsten Breuer's ties with Oleksandr Syrskyi a very important contact.
The announced aid will include:
- Mine Resistant Vehicles with Ambush Protection (MRV);
- Bombs for arming small drones;
- 77 MULTI 1A1 trucks;
- Medical equipment;
- Spare parts kits for various weapons systems.
In addition, the statement said that Germany would increase the capacity needed to repair Ukrainian military equipment by the summer.
- Earlier, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that Germany intends to increase the supply of artillery shells to Ukraine by 3-4 times. In 2024, Berlin will spend €3.5 billion on ammunition purchases.
- On February 16, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Germany and France to sign a bilateral security agreement.
