We target Russian subversive reconnaissance groups on Bakhmut streets – Ukrainian serviceman

Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier Petro Voloshchenko, aka Stone, noted that the enemy is sending new reserves into the battle

He said this on the Espreso TV channel.

"An acute phase has begun in Bakhmut. Despite numerous losses, the enemy continues to advance. Russian forces are sending new reserves into the battle. The enemy is throwing paratroopers and artillery brigades into the battle and is trying to put pressure on Bakhmut from the southeast. The fighting is taking place near the southern gate of Bakhmut, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces are fighting back with dignity. The occupying Russian forces tried to cross the Bakhmutka river, but they failed," emphasised Voloshchenko ‘Stone’.

According to the serviceman, the enemy is trying to occupy the industrial zone in Bakhmut, but Ukrainian defenders are holding the line there as well.

"The enemy has changed its tactics, the Russian forces are sending subversive reconnaissance groups into the city. Not knowing the streets, enemy subversive reconnaissance groups go into the city and fall into our ambushes. We target them on the streets. The enemy is unable to put massive pressure on us, they are exhausted. There are no big human attacks. The enemies try to sneak into the city in groups of 10-15 people and are killed in action. Bakhmut is fighting, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding on," emphasised Petro ‘Stone’ Voloshchenko.
