We should set foot on Crimea by the end of this year - Budanov
Kyrylo Budanov, the chief of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence, stated that Ukrainian forces should set foot on Crimea, currently under Russian occupation, by the end of the year.

Budanov gave an interview to the Ukrainian Truth organisation.
“We should set foot on Crimea by the end of this year” was his main statement.
He added that the “active phase” can be expected to fall dramatically before the end of the year. Russia has enough resources for 12 months of war, and the war will end with all of Ukraine’s occupied territories returning to Ukraine, Crimea included.
