We have to stop war, no matter what economic, political price we need to pay - Maia Sandu in Kyiv region

Maia Sandu stated this during her visit to the Kyiv region, Espreso correspondent reports.

Maia Sandu arrived in Ukraine on an unannounced visit. She visited towns in the Kyiv region that had been hit hard by the Russian army. The Moldovan President stated that after what she saw, 'her heart is torn', and there can be no excuses for the people who committed these terrible crimes.

Sandu also acknowledged that Moldova, like Ukraine, is now in danger because of the Russian threat. Therefore, a new invasion of state sovereignty by Russia must be prevented.

Then the Moldovan President will meet with Volodymyr Zelensky.
