We have the bodies of the Azovstal fighters, now we will bring our soldiers home from captivity - Azov fighter's sister
The sister of Azov Regiment Chief of Staff, First Deputy Commander, Major Bohdan Krotevych, Sandra Krotevych, is confident that a prisoner exchange for Azovstal fighters is underway.
She expressed her opinion with Espreso.
"Only now the Ukrainian side has managed to agree with Russia to take away at least the bodies of our soldiers. Finally they exchanged bodies. Many guys who gave their lives for our country, for us, returned to Kyiv. The process of recognition through DNA is underway. Many of the relatives who receive the bodies will be able to bury them with dignity," Krotevych said.
The fighter's sister hopes that in the near future Ukraine, with the help of other states, will be able to ensure the return of our wounded fighters from Azovstal, who are currently being held captive by the Russian military.
"I hope we will be able to resolve the issue and hold the next exchange, including Ukrainian boys and girls who were injured and fought in Azovstal. According to the plan, women should be exchanged first, and then everyone else," she added.
Sandra Krotevych also stressed that both the government and society can't forget about Azovstal's fighters now, because publicity is one of the tools that will help release our wounded soldiers.
"Now the most important thing is that our president, our high-ranking officials deal with this issue and do not forget about it," Krotevych said.
