This is reported by the press service of the European Commission.
"We have never been so close to a nuclear disaster as we are now. Simply reporting a dire situation may not be enough," the minister told reporters in Prague.
The minister noted that it is necessary to consider the issue of the introduction of peacekeeping forces at the Zaporizhzhya NPP, since nuclear safety should be a priority.
"I think we should return to the discussion we had half a year ago regarding the introduction of a peacekeeping force, perhaps even a military one, that would ensure nuclear safety at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant and around it," said Landsbergis.
