We continue to prepare ports to implement agreement on "grain corridors" - Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Infrastructure
Ukraine continues preparations to implement the agreement on grain exports, despite the shelling of the port in Odesa
Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Yuriy Vaskov shared the statement on Espreso.
He called Russia's shelling of the Odesa port a destructive move on the part of the Russian Federation.
"We didn’t sign the agreement with Russia, because we do not trust this country, we signed it with the UN and the Turkish authorities. Right now, a technical meeting is taking place in Turkey, where it is being discussed when the coordination center will be formed. We are planning that it will be created by July 24," he said.
According to the deputy minister, Ukraine continues to prepare ports for the implementation of the agreement on "grain corridors".
"Technically prepare the ports of the Russian region for the possibility of exporting grain and the corresponding processed products. Prepare the port infrastructure - terminals, fleet, personnel and so on," Vaskov concluded.
