War becomes protracted in Avdiivka region

Prozapas emphasized that “after the failed offensive of the Russian army in the Avdiivka region, during which the enemy attempted to breach the operational space, these attempts ceased. The enemy has resorted to defensive measures in most areas of the Avdiivka region.”

The captain of the Armed Forces noted that the war in the Avdiivka region is becoming protracted with exhausting combat operations and artillery duels, but without breakthrough actions. He added that it seems the enemy is either regrouping in the Avdiivka direction to launch a new offensive, which is unlikely to succeed, or preparing to defend other directions against the possible offensive actions of the Armed Forces.

• The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the Russian army has not carried out any offensive actions in the Avdiivka direction. 

• Ukrainian military and the first commander of "Azov" Andriy Biletskyi,confirmed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have successfully defeated several companies of Russians and captured the enemy.
