Zelenskyy slams Putin’s 'Easter ceasefire' as cynical game with people’s lives

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to the 30-hour Easter ceasefire announced by the Russian dictator. He called it "another attempt by Putin to play with people's lives"

He wrote about this on his Telegram channel.

"As for yet another attempt by Putin to play with people's lives," the president emphasized.

According to him, after Putin's announcement, air raid sirens continued to sound in Ukraine.

"At 5:15 p.m., Russian attack drones were detected in our skies. Ukrainian air defense and aviation have already started working to protect us. Shaheds in our sky—that is Putin's real attitude toward Easter and toward people's lives," Zelenskyy added.

By 6:00 p.m., air raid sirens were sounding in the Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The all-clear in the Kyiv region was announced at 6:01 p.m.. The latest the air raid ended was in the Dnipropetrovsk region, at 6:03 p.m.
