Zelenskyy: Russia managed to influence some members of White House team

He said this in an interview with Time.

The president claims that U.S. officials were repeating Russian disinformation, even despite having their own intelligence data that indicated otherwise. As an example, Zelenskyy mentioned reports about the alleged encirclement of Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region—something President Donald Trump had claimed.

At the same time, the Ukrainian leader added that officials from the White House administration “had begun taking Putin at his word.”

“I believe Russia has managed to influence some people on the White House team through information,” Zelenskyy said. “Their signal to the Americans was that the Ukrainians do not want to end the war, and something should be done to force them.”
