Zelenskyy arrives in Paris, meets with Austrian Chancellor Nehammer
During his visit to Paris on December 7, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Austrian Federal Chancellor Karl Nehammer
Karl Nehammer and Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this on the X social network.
“We talked about intensifying our joint efforts to achieve a comprehensive, just and lasting peace. As the capital of a neutral country, Vienna is always ready to host future peace talks,” the Austrian Federal Chancellor wrote.
According to Zelenskyy, the meeting also discussed support for Ukraine and its continuation next year, namely, assistance to the energy system in the winter and protection of Ukrainians from Russian terror.
“I invited Austria to join the G7 Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine and to sign a bilateral agreement on long-term support in the future,” Zelenskyy wrote.
Earlier, Ukrinform reported that Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Paris, where he will hold a series of meetings with several heads of state.
In particular, Zelenskyy is scheduled to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace.
U.S. President-elect Donald Trump is also in Paris today.
It is reported that in the evening, heads of state and government of about 40 countries will take part in the opening ceremony of Notre Dame Cathedral after the fire that occurred 5 years ago.
