Volodin's statement on Poland confirms that imperialism is thriving in Russia - Polish politician Czech

The statement by the speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin that Poland should allegedly return some land to Russia confirms that Russian imperialism has not disappeared

This was stated by Polish politician Mirosław Czech on Espreso TV.

"There has already been a reaction. The government spokesperson said that this is a completely inappropriate position - the Soviet Union and the Russian Empire caused great losses and great suffering to Poland," he said.

According to Czech, this Russian position, and Volodin's in particular, only confirms that Russian imperialism has not disappeared.

"In his imagination, he thrives and plans, as he planned the seizure of Ukraine, the seizure of territories of other countries. Dmitry Medvedev even said that Poland was occupied. In the propaganda and political perceptions of the Kremlin elite, the world is in a parallel reality, and they live in it and discuss such topics with each other. We have known since 2014 that this is a sick notion," the politician believes.
