
'Putin sends signal of total disrespect to U.S.': Ukraine's FM on Russia’s massive attack
Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, commenting on Russia’s latest massive strike on Ukraine, draws attention to the fact that Russia is doing this deliberately during the G7 summit

“Putin does this on purpose, just during the G7 summit. He sends a signal of total disrespect to the United States and other partners who have called for an end to the killing,” Sybiha wrote.
The minister stated that hundreds of drones and missiles were aimed at the civilian population, with Kyiv suffering especially heavily.
“Russia not only rejects a ceasefire or a leaders' meeting to find solutions and end the war. It cynically strikes Ukraine's capital while pretending to seek diplomatic solutions,” he added.
- In the early hours of June 17, Russia attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles. Strikes were reported in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, Odesa, and Zaporizhzhia.
