This information is reported by ANSA.

According to the singer, this news was conveyed to him by his impresario, who had previously organized his performances for President Vladimir Putin.

“I received wonderful news from the person who was my impresario in Russia, who made me sing for Putin four times. He told me: ‘Get ready for the end of August or the beginning of September because we are going to organize a concert in support of peace,’” said Al Bano.

He mentioned that “based on the news we all saw about Putin and Trump talking to each other, one can conclude that something has happened and will happen.”

“I’m telling you what my impresario told me, and since he has never been wrong in our professional relationship, this time will be no different,” Al Bano remarked. “The peace concert will take place on Red Square in Moscow. This is wonderful news.”

For reference: On March 6, 2019, Ukraine’s Ministry of Culture added Albano Carrisi to the list of 147 individuals deemed to “pose a threat to national security,” based on requests from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and other state bodies. He was later removed from the list at the request of President Zelenskyy.
