Putin feels comfortable in mud

Some Americans, more specifically friends of Trump, had the idea to go to Istanbul simply to find out if Putin was serious. And to act accordingly*

Well, Putin did them a favor. They will be able to save a little more for the budget on tickets to a non-capital of Turkey and please Elon Musk. The moment Putin made his list of negotiators public, everyone got their answers.

"It seemed that Trump had done everything for Putin. He found him in the mud, pulled him out, dusted him off, and rolled out the red carpet for his return to the big game. It seemed like such a chance comes once in a lifetime. You have to seize it. If, of course, you are a rational player."

Even at the end of last year, the main question was - what is in Putin's head? That is, what will he do in such a moment? Well, we got the answer.

In the Russian imperial tradition, this is called "dizziness from success." It turned out that Putin is comfortable in the mud. And he can sit there a little longer. It turned out he wanted more.

And in fact, he rubbed Trump's face with Medinsky. And not only Trump's. Even his BRICS friends. We don't know what China is thinking. But the President of Brazil, after meeting with the radiant Xi in Beijing, decided to return home via Moscow to persuade Putin to go to Istanbul. And only people who believe in a flat Earth can think that Moscow is on the way between Beijing and Brazil. And this President of Brazil makes a detour and then sits for 4 hours on the plane because Putin is busy. So the only thing that should please Trump is that he wasn't the only one whose face was rubbed with Medinsky.

What's next? In a normal situation, we would definitely approach the desired moment when Trump finally publicly admits that Putin is a as*hole and starts imposing sanctions and writing angry posts. We would call this moment "resident's mistake," when Putin overdid it and made a mistake. Moreover, we have already seen manifestations of Trump's irritation in his posts, when he encroached on the sacred, on Putin's personal victory in the World War II.

"But this is in a normal situation. And we have Trump. Who has to admit not only the resident's mistake, but also his own mistake. His "non-win." To do what is called "fix the loss" in the stock market. But Trump doesn't make mistakes. This is known to everyone."

So this is something out of the realm of fantasy. Miracles. Moreover, Putin again hid his flaccid Oreshnik, and Trump can cling to it. And we will go in a new circle. And we will even talk to this vile Medinsky. I wonder who will be chosen worthy of this matter...

Do we have a choice? Is there another smart strategy for Ukraine and Europe? Is there an acceptable option? Unfortunately, after the choice of the Americans, there was no other strategy left...
