Putin declares readiness for talks with Kyiv “taking into account today’s realities”

Vladimir Putin said this at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
According to him, possible negotiations should be based on the realities of today.
"On the terms that we agreed on back in Minsk, and then in Istanbul. But even if we take those agreements in Istanbul as a basis, we must proceed from the realities of today,” the Russian dictator said in a statement.

Journalist Vitaliy Portnikov believes that playing the so-called truce according to the Russian scenario will not end the war, as Russia will find a way to dodge and start the "special military operation" again.
