The State Agency for Tourism Development and the American company Airbnb have signed a memorandum. This was reported by Mariana Oleskiv, Head of the State Agency.
"Airbnb will promote Ukraine as a tourist destination! Today we have signed a joint memorandum and this is an unprecedented and very significant event," she wrote.
"Everyone knows one of the world's largest platforms for booking accommodation and finding the most vivid impressions. However, not everyone knows how committed this wonderful company has been to supporting Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war. Now, Airbnb will help in the post-war recovery of Ukraine's tourism industry. We will work together to promote our country as a tourist destination."
According to Mariana Oleskiv, this also applies to Crimea as soon as it is liberated.
"This is a crucial step for our team at the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine, as it is difficult to overestimate the economic impact of Airbnb's active work in our country," says the head of the State Agency. "As soon as it becomes safe and air travel resumes, Ukraine is predicted to become one of the main tourist destinations in Europe, especially for those countries that are currently supporting us in our fight for independence. Airbnb is ready to become our reliable partner, sharing Ukraine's attractiveness among its millions of users and sharing data from the platform with us."
On September 27, the commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops, Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, announced good news in his sectorl.

The United States has frozen $8bn worth of Russian sovereign assets, most of which are in the EU and Japan, Pritzker said.
The Russian assets frozen by the West should be used for the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. Legal teams are working to understand what can be done with Russian assets.
Russian forces are preparing defense lines at the beaches in Yevpatoria. This was reported by the ATESH guerrilla movement. The movement's agents have discovered four firing positions at the Yevpatoria seafront.
“Does Russia really think that the liberation of Crimea will begin from the beaches of Yevpatoria? Or is it done for money laundering? If so, then let them... We will continue to work on the liberation of Crimea," the ATESH partisans wrote.
The Lithuanian Armed Forces have handed over radar sets for the needs of the Ukrainian Navy, the website of the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defense reports.
The radar sets are designed to provide maritime surveillance and develop the ability to perceive the marine environment. Lithuania sent Ukraine this equipment based on the needs and request of the Navy.
Lithuanian Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anušauskas stated, "This support will bolster Ukraine's ability to monitor its maritime surroundings, safeguard territorial waters, and protect its citizens in the aftermath of the Russian conflict."
