Victorious news on 436th day of war: almost UAH 1.4 billion donated for Ukraine's healthcare and batch of Leopard 1 tanks to be delivered to Ukraine
Over the year, people from 110 countries have donated almost UAH 1.4 billion to United24 to support Ukraine's healthcare system, and the occupying forces are urgently evacuating residents of the frontline areas of Zaporizhzhia region
Оccupуing Russian troops urgently evacuate residents of Zaporizhzhia region.
On May 5, it became known that an emergency evacuation was announced from the frontline districts of Zaporizhzhia region to Berdiansk.
Local residents of the temporarily occupied towns of Polohy, Tokmak and Molochansk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast were informed of an urgent evacuation to Berdyansk. Such actions are explained by the escalation on the contact line.
Invading Russian forces once again want to forcefully evacuate children. Russians are in a similar panic in the town of Enerhodar. There, the occupying forces ordered residents to quickly take children from kindergartens. Russian media write about the partial "relocation" of residents from 18 settlements. First of all, children with parents, the elderly, the disabled, and patients of medical institutions are to be relocated.
Ukrainian UAVs will not be hindered by jamming navigation in Moscow
The jamming of GPS and GLONASS systems in Moscow before the May 9 parade will not prevent Ukrainian drones from navigating the sky, as there are four airports in the Russian capital with the navigation system enabled, wrote Volodymyr Yatsenko, developer of the Dovbush UAV.
"Work is in full swing in the village of fools". All satellite navigation systems in Moscow have lost signal. Moscow taxi drivers are in a panic - most of them don't know Moscow very well, because they are almost all not "locals". Someone should tell these idiots that they have four airports with navigation systems enabled, so that Ukrainian UAVs can navigate in the hostile sky," said Yatsenko.
In late March, Volodymyr Yatsenko announced a UAH 20 million prize for the drone developer whose UAV could land on May 9 during the Red Square parade in Moscow. On May 4, navigation systems in the Russian capital began jamming due to drone activity.
Leopards from foreign friends
Denmark and Germany will provide 80 Leopard 1 tanks to Ukraine. They will be ready for use in early summer, said acting Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.
On May 5, the Danish Defense Minister arrived on a visit to Germany. Together with his German counterpart Boris Pistorius, he inspected the Ukrainian Armed Forces' tank training.
"The 80 Leopard 1 tanks we are providing are a significant number," the minister said.
According to him, the Leopard 1 tanks will be ready for commissioning in Ukraine on June 1. Training of Ukrainian tankers will take about a month. The Danish Defense Minister noted that the Leopard 1 tanks in question were decommissioned in 2005. They were in storage.
