In Volnovakha, the Russian forces' military position was hit

Petro Andriushchenko, an adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, reported the hit in the city center on his Telegram channel. Later he clarified that the shelling hit the House of Culture of Railwaymen, where the invaders were stationed.

"Volnovakha. The place of the hit was the House of Culture of Railwaymen. As you can imagine, there was no culture there. The invaders and collaborators are said to have burned quite well. We are waiting for details. Great news," Andriushchenko wrote.

HIMARS destroyed Russian radar that guided missiles to Zaporizhzhia

The HIMARS strike destroyed the S-300 search and targeting radar, which the Russian troops used to direct missiles at Zaporizhzhia. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who posted a video of the hit on his page.

"Strong fire damage this week. Our soldiers knocked out one of the Russian air defense systems in the south. Each of our strikes gives Ukrainians more security. Thank you, guys! Keep it up!" he wrote.

"At night, a precision HIMARS strike destroyed the S-300 search and targeting radar, which was used to guide S-300 missiles during the attacks on Zaporizhzhia. The search and targeting radar is the main component of the S-300 system, and its destruction makes it impossible to use S-300 and S-400 missiles. This is one of the most important fire defeats this week thanks to the Ukrainian defense forces," the video description reads.

In the Tavria sector, 11 tanks and 2 munitions depots were destroyed overnight

In the Tavria sector, Russia lost 483 people over the last day. This was reported by the commander of the Tavria operational and strategic grouping, General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi.

"Our troops are holding steadfastly the defense in the Avdiivka sector. The Russian army's offensive actions in the areas of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Opytne, and Pervomaiske were unsuccessful. Missile and artillery units of the Tavria separate military unit carried out 1341 firing missions over the day. Total enemy losses amounted to 483 personnel," said General Tarnavskyi.

Over the past day, the Tavria units destroyed 31 pieces of military equipment: 11 tanks, 4 armored personnel carriers, 6 artillery systems, 2 UAVs, 8 vehicles, and 2 munitions depots.

Netherlands to provide Ukraine with half a billion euros for ammunition

During her visit to Ukraine, Dutch Defense Minister Kajsa Ollongren promised to allocate EUR 500 million for ammunition by mid-2024.

"Because you can only continue to fight if they know that we will continue to provide assistance," says Ollongren about the "significant amounts of money to support Ukraine" in the war against Russia.

During her visit to Ukraine, Ollongren emphasized to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that the Netherlands continues to support Ukraine in the protracted war and that this is important for the endurance of the Ukrainian army.
