Special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate received unmanned aerial bombers

Soldiers of the Main Intelligence Directorate received unmanned bomber aircrafts that can hit the enemy at a distance of 70 km. This was reported by the intelligence.

"Volunteer Serhii Sternenko and subscribers of his channels raised UAH 19,250,000 and used this money to purchase unmanned aerial bombers - they have already been handed over to the special UAV unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate," the message says.

In the Melitopol sector, Ukraine’s forces advanced by 650 meters

Units of one of the National Guard's operational brigades have advanced about 650 meters deep into the Russian defense in the Melitopol sector and are consolidating their positions. This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.

According to him, in the Melitopol sector, the National Guardsmen continued their offensive as part of the Defense Forces' strike groups.

"In the Marinka and Berdiansk directions, certain forces and equipment of the National Guard are holding the defensive lines. In the Kupiansk sector, the National Guard forces and equipment are reliably holding the lines, and special forces units continue to conduct aerial reconnaissance," the statement says.

Also, according to Klymenko, in the border areas of the Sumy region, the National Guard is taking measures to disclose the intentions of enemy subversive groups and prevent their activities in Ukraine.

The first salt was extracted from a deposit in Zakarpattia

The first salt has been extracted from the Tereblia salt deposit in the Tiachiv district, Zakarpattia region. This was announced by the head of the military regional administration, Viktor Mykyta, who handed over the first samples to Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his visit to Zakarpattia.

"This event is of great importance for the country's food security and the economic development of our region. The deposit in Zakarpattia will be able to provide Ukraine with 100% of technical and table salt, which will be supplied in the near future to maintain roads in winter and to meet the needs of the population," said Viktor Mykyta.

Explosions reported at Russian munitions depots in occupied Tokmak

On August 3, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region. Telegram channels reported a hit on the Russian army's military depots. An advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, also reported explosions with detonation.

"Tokmak. Hello. According to the detonation, the munitions depots are very tired. Good news," Andriushchenko said.

ICC may issue new arrest warrants for Putin

International Criminal Court President Piotr Hofmański suggests that the ICC prosecutor may issue new arrest warrants for Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"The prosecutor has clearly stated that he is actively engaged in new investigations in Ukraine, as well as in other countries, and we expect more action in this regard," Hofmański said.

According to the head of the ICC, one of the reasons for the new arrest warrants for Putin may be the war crimes case of the Wagner PMC. The status of this group in terms of the law in Russia is still uncertain.

One of the proofs of direct ties between the Russian authorities and the Wagner PMC militants was recently provided by Putin himself. He admitted that Moscow fully financed the mercenaries from May 2022 to May 2023, spending about USD 1 billion from the budget on them.

According to international law experts, Putin's statement will make it easier for international courts to prosecute the Russian leadership for crimes committed by the Wagner soldiers.
