The Armed Forces of Ukraine report success in three directions

Defenders in the areas of: Novodanilivka - Verbove, Novodanilivka - Robotyne and Novodarivka - Pryiutne were successful. As of July 21, the military are consolidating their positions at the achieved lines and are also inflicting artillery fire on the targets of the Russian occupiers. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are carrying out counter-battery operations.
Ukrainian soldiers in the Bakhmut sector continue to advance north and south of the city. Heavy fighting continues in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka - Paraskoviivka and Klishchiyivka - Andriivka with no change in the situation.
"The enemy is putting up strong resistance, actively using reserves, and suffering huge losses," the press service added.
New Zealand imposes sanctions on 17 companies, 6 citizens of Russia and Belarus
On Friday, July 21, New Zealand announced a new tranche of 23 sanctions over Russia's illegal and unjustified attack on Ukraine.
This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand, Nanaia Mahuta.
The new restrictions are aimed at the Russian military-industrial complex, paramilitary groups and individuals involved in the illegal transport and deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia. They also cover several other Belarusian financial institutions in response to the country's growing support for our enemy.
"These sanctions are directed against 14 individuals and legal entities of the Russian military-industrial complex. They develop, produce or purchase weapons, electronic components and technologies (such as microelectronics and semiconductors) that Russia uses to wage an aggressive war against Ukraine," Makhuta said.
Ukrainians donated a record UAH 2.4 billion to the Armed Forces in June
In June, Ukrainians donated UAH 2.4 billion for defence. Opendatabot describes this amount as an absolute record. This is almost half of all donations to defence in the first half of this year. The previous maximum was recorded in July last year - UAH 2.24 billion.
At the same time, the results of fundraising for the Armed Forces in June were 4.8 times higher than in January-May this year - when United24 raised an average of UAH 0.5 billion per month for this purpose.
Two other charitable foundations had a similar situation. In June, Come Back Alive raised UAH 0.34 billion, up 17% from the "average" UAH 0.29 billion in January-May this year. The Serhiy Prytula Foundation saw a 37% increase in donations - in June, Ukrainians donated UAH 0.22 billion, while the average amount of donations this year was UAH 0.16 billion.
Germany announces a new aid package for Ukraine

Thus, Ukraine will receive:
- 10 Leopard 1A5 tanks;
- 20 MG3 machine guns for tanks and armoured vehicles;
- 1,035 155-mm artillery shells and smoke ammunition;

- 16 Zetros trucks;
- 100 thousand first aid kits.
Government approves pilot project to produce ammunition and combat parts for UAVs

"The procedure for the implementation of the pilot project has been approved," Melnychuk wrote.
According to the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers, the project is designed for two years.
This decision establishes requirements for conducting economic activities in the field of development, production, procurement and supply of ammunition for unmanned systems and combat units of unmanned systems for the security and defence forces of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defence has reported that since 22 February 2022, Ukraine has adopted 28 models of drones of its own production.
Ukraine withdraws from the CIS agreement on social protection and healthcare
On July 21, Ukraine withdrew from the CIS agreement on social protection and healthcare for citizens exposed to radiation as a result of the Chornobyl and other radiation disasters and accidents.
This was reported by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Taras Melnychuk.
"Ukraine has withdrawn from the agreement on social protection and health care of citizens exposed to radiation as a result of the Chornobyl and other radiation disasters and accidents, as well as nuclear tests, signed on 09.09.1994 in Moscow," Melnychuk wrote.
Ukrainian aviation carried out 13 strikes against the enemy

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation carried out 13 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and 3 on Russian anti-aircraft missile systems.
Missile and artillery units struck an area of concentration of Russian manpower, weapons and military equipment, 2 artillery pieces at firing positions and an enemy electronic warfare station.
