China and Turkey refuse to supply weapons to Wagner PMC

The leaked Pentagon documents revealed information about arms supplies to the Russian private military company Wagner, the Financial Times reports.

According to the Pentagon documents, representatives of Wagner PMC, which is controlled by Vladimir Putin's close ally Yevgeny Prigozhin, tried to buy weapons and ammunition from China in early 2023, but no arms deliveries from China took place at that time.

Meanwhile, in Turkey, Wagner's representatives tried to negotiate the purchase of drones, electronic warfare systems, counter-battery systems, and howitzer artillery pieces. They were also unsuccessful.

Instead, Pentagon documents contain information about arms supplies to PMCs from Belarus and Syria.
