Kherson CHPP resumes operations

“The Kherson combined heat and power plant has resumed operations and the buildings have been connected to the heating network. For technical reasons, namely because water was drained from the heating systems of many buildings to prevent damage to the pipes in the cold, the connection will continue throughout the day,” the Kherson Regional State Administration said in a statement.

Ukraine's Air Defense systems have shot down 630 enemy 'kamikaze' drones since September

Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat said that since the beginning of September, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been able to destroy more than 630 'kamikaze' drones used by the enemy to attack Ukrainian territory.

“The occupying forces do not change their tactics of using missiles and 'kamikaze' drones. Our energy system has been under attack for a long time. During this time, the occupiers have used hundreds of drones. However, our Air Force has shown excellent results. In particular, since September 11, 2022, the Air Force has destroyed more than 630 'kamikaze' drones used by the enemy to attack Ukraine,” he added.

This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo, Ukraine's state power company.

All types of power plants are currently operating in the power system. In addition, hydroelectric power plants are actively operating due to flooding. Electricity imports are approaching zero.
