“The Kherson combined heat and power plant has resumed operations and the buildings have been connected to the heating network. For technical reasons, namely because water was drained from the heating systems of many buildings to prevent damage to the pipes in the cold, the connection will continue throughout the day,” the Kherson Regional State Administration said in a statement.
Ukraine's Air Defense systems have shot down 630 enemy 'kamikaze' drones since September
Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat said that since the beginning of September, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been able to destroy more than 630 'kamikaze' drones used by the enemy to attack Ukrainian territory.
“The occupying forces do not change their tactics of using missiles and 'kamikaze' drones. Our energy system has been under attack for a long time. During this time, the occupiers have used hundreds of drones. However, our Air Force has shown excellent results. In particular, since September 11, 2022, the Air Force has destroyed more than 630 'kamikaze' drones used by the enemy to attack Ukraine,” he added.
There is no capacity shortage in the Ukrainian power system
Electricity consumption is gradually increasing to the level of a working day, but there is no power shortage in the energy system and it is not currently forecasted.

All types of power plants are currently operating in the power system. In addition, hydroelectric power plants are actively operating due to flooding. Electricity imports are approaching zero.

Taiwan will help Ukraine rebuild its infrastructure
Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has allocated about USD 56 million in its 2023 budget to rebuild Ukraine's civilian infrastructure.
In particular, the authorities plan to take part in joint efforts to restore Ukrainian hospitals, schools, churches, energy, water, bridges, and transportation facilities on a bilateral and multilateral basis.
Ukrainian Armed Forces hit Russian command post
