Ukrainian Armed Forces defeat elite brigade of Russian marines

The Ukrainian Armed Forces defeated a large convoy near Vuhledar and targeted a tank battalion of the Russian army. This was stated by Ukrainian MP, Secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, Colonel Roman Kostenko.

At the same time, Colonel Oleksiy Dmytrashkovsky, head of the joint press center of the Tauride Defense Forces, clarified that it is the elite 155th Marine Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces. According to him, the Russian occupiers were losing 150-300 marines per day near Vuhledar. According to his estimates, the brigade consisted of about 5,000 soldiers and was almost completely eliminated.

Ukrainian military have already started training on Leopard 2 in Germany

A spokeswoman for the German Ministry of Defense said that the Bundeswehr has already begun training Ukrainian soldiers on the Leopard 2 main battle tank. The training will take place mainly at the Tank School in Munster (Lower Saxony) and should be completed by the end of the first quarter so that the delivery of tanks can be synchronized with it.

In addition, there are training programs for Ukrainian soldiers that have already begun in Germany on the Marder infantry fighting vehicle.

Denmark has handed over all of its CAESAR self-propelled artillery systems to Ukraine. French self-propelled artillery systems have already arrived in Ukraine.

CAESAR has a maximum range of 42 km and fires 6 shots in less than a minute. The caliber is 155 mm, the ammunition is 18 rounds, and the speed is 80 km/h on the road and 50 km/h off-road.

Even maternity hospitals are used by Russian forces as military hospitals

The Russian army has so many sanitary losses that in the temporarily occupied Luhansk, a maternity hospital is being used to treat wounded soldiers of the Russian occupation forces. In addition, the premises of Children's Hospital No. 3 have also been converted into a military hospital. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

For the first time in history, Ukraine receives diesel fuel from the United States

In early February, Ukraine received a shipment of diesel fuel made in the United States. This is the first time in the history of the Ukrainian market that American petroleum products have been imported.

"The 100,000-dwt tanker was received in the port of Hamburg, from where we take the product in smaller 30,000-ton tankers and transport it to our terminal in Poland. This first shipment has already started to arrive in Ukraine," said UPG, which imported the American fuel.

The company does not disclose commercial details, but noted that the experience of the first deliveries indicates the prospects of continuing this work.
