“At night, under the cover of the fire support unit of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, servicemen of Ukraine's Special Operations Forces conducted an assault on a stronghold held by Russian soldiers,” the press service wrote.
The stronghold near Bakhmut was previously held by the Ukrainian military, but was lost as a result of Russian attacks.
Ukrainian soldiers eliminated the enemy. Currently, the enemy's positions have come under the Ukrainian Armed Forces' control.
As a result of the assault, the fighters of the Special Operations Forces destroyed 13 Russian soldiers and captured 5 more.
The international Bayer company donated EUR 1.3 million to restore Ukrainian medical facilities
Part of these funds, namely UAH 26,784,628, will be spent on major repairs of the Chernihiv Medical Center of Modern Oncology. The facility was damaged as a result of shelling by the occupying Russian forces.
UAH 10,458,410 will be used to purchase equipment for the treatment and rehabilitation of patients at the Romodanov Institute of Neurosurgery in Kyiv.
Ukrainian soldiers hit an enemy boat in the Dnipro River delta
“In the delta of the Dnipro River, in the area of Bilohrudyi Island, the Defense Forces hit an enemy boat with artillery,” the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported.
Bilohrudyi Island - belongs to the Hola Prystan Town Council, is located in the Dnipro River delta, in the floodplains between Kherson and Hola Prystan.
