Ukraine has received Caesar artillery systems from Denmark

Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov announced this during a press conference.

According to the minister, in August 2022, Ukraine launched a project with Denmark to receive Caesar artillery systems, Copenhagen ordered them from France.

"We negotiated, it was a difficult project, today I want to brag to you, the first Caesars arrived in Ukraine, made in France, but these are Danish Caesars that are on combat duty," the minister said.

Reznikov said Ukraine is ready for a counteroffensive

Generally, Ukraine is ready for the counteroffensive that was announced earlier. The necessary weather conditions and command decisions are expected.

Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov announced this during a press conference.

"In a global sense, we are generally ready, then the matter is up to the General Staff and the command. As soon as it is God's will, the weather and the commanders' decision, we will do it," Reznikov said.

Vinnytsia Regional Council terminates land lease agreements with UOC-MP

The Vinnytsia Regional Council terminated land lease agreements with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) and ordered inspections of plots and churches.

The decision was supported by 58 out of 60 deputies present.

In addition, the regional council approved an appeal to the Ukrainian parliament to ban the activities of religious organisations controlled from Russia.

Ukrainian Armed Forces target three Russian Giatsint artillery systems on the southern front

Ukrainian marines continue to neutralise Russian occupiers fighting against Ukraine.

Over the past day, Ukrainian missile and artillery units struck at the concentration of enemy manpower and equipment in the Kakhovka district. They targeted 14 pieces of weapons and equipment, including 2 Giatsint artillery systems, a complex and another electronic warfare (EW) antenna, 2 communication system antennas and 3 reconnaissance drones. 12 Russian terrorists were neutralised.

The first batch of radars purchased by Lithuanian citizens will arrive in Ukraine in a week

The first three radars purchased by Lithuanian citizens are due to arrive in Ukraine next week: a total of 16 radars have been purchased for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The procedures for purchasing and sending radars to Lithuania took about a month. This time, the Polish border guards treated their transit much more formally," said Jonas Oman, the person responsible for the purchase, the head of the Blue-Yellow NGO.

Earlier, the NGO reported that all 16 purchased radars had arrived in Lithuania, and the first three were on their way to Ukraine and should arrive in a week.

Ukraine receives $1.25 billion in grants from the United States

On Friday, April 28, the state budget of Ukraine received $1.25 billion in grants from the United States of America.

This was reported by the Ministry of Finance.

The funds were provided through the World Bank Trust Fund as part of the fourth additional financing for the Public Expenditures for Administrative Capacity Endurance (PEACE) project. Also, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has received about $16.7 billion in grants from the United States.

The funds will be used for pension payments, assistance to internally displaced persons, salaries for healthcare workers, and payments to the State Emergency Service.

Ukrainian aviation carried out 4 strikes on the areas of concentration of Russian soldiers and their equipment 

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out 4 strikes on the areas of concentration of Russian personnel and military equipment.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At the same time, units of the missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 3 control points, an ammunition depot and 4 areas of concentration of Russian manpower.
