Verkhovna Rada prepares appeal on excluding Russia from G20 - Deputy Zheleznyak
Member of parliament Yaroslav Zheleznyak said that Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada (parliament) is preparing an appeal to partner countries with a call to exclude Russia from the Group of Twenty (G20).

Zheleznyak notes that the relevant resolution will be submitted to the Council as early as next week, at which time the vote will take place. He also reminded that back in 2014, Russia was excluded from the G8 due to its annexation of Crimea.
"Let me remind you that in 2014, after the annexation of Crimea, the Russian Federation was already expelled from the G8. Well, there is a proposal to replace her in G20," he writes.
