Use of tactical nuclear weapons will make Russian army panic - Zgurets

He expressed this opinion on the air of the Espreso TV channel.

"I believe that the question of Russia's use of strategic nuclear weapons is exaggerated in terms of the importance of effectiveness on the battlefield. Russian forces cannot effectively use conventional weapons. Therefore, if they now conduct a test of tactical nuclear weapons without means of protection, it will create panic rather in the Russian army," explained Zgurets.

The analyst believes that NATO and the USA gave a clear signal to the Kremlin about the inadmissibility of using nuclear weapons

"At the same time, there are clear statements from NATO and the US that Russia's use of tactical nuclear weapons will be the end of Russian military capabilities. Since it was clearly stated that all Russian military targets on the territory of Ukraine and in the occupied Crimea will be destroyed. I  I think that Putin perfectly understands this clear message," he added.
