USA will provide unprecedented support to Ukraine for the restoration of energy industry this year

Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Halushchenko stated this after a meeting with US Deputy Secretary of State for Energy Affairs Geoffrey Pyatt.

"I thanked Geoffrey for effective coordination of the work of the international support group of Ukraine in G7+ format ("Energy Ramstein") and for helping in our struggle on the energy front," Herman Halushchenko wrote.

He also noted that this year the United States will provide Ukraine with "unprecedented financial support" to restore the country's energy sector. In particular, corresponding finances have already been included in the US state budget.
