U.S.-Ukraine minerals deal to include annexes on security guarantees — Zelenskyy aide

But it is a framework document that paves the way for strategic partnership with the United States... The agreement will have several annexes. Some will be detailed, with figures, outlining investment programs and profit distribution from joint mineral development. Other annexes will describe security guarantees for Ukraine - specifically, what the U.S. must provide to help counter Russia. Because the war is not going away," he said.

• On February 28, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in the United States for a meeting with Donald Trump. During the visit, a framework agreement on minerals is expected to be signed.
