US has missiles for F-16 that are similar to Storm Shadow – Defense Express editor-in-chief Katkov
Given the expected delivery of F-16 fighters to Ukraine, the US has a JASSM missile that is integrated into this aircraft. Its parameters are similar to the Storm Shadow
Defense Express editor-in-chief Oleh Katkov said this on Espreso TV.
“Washington found a lot of excuses not to supply ATACMS missiles. It will be interesting if the position changes. At the same time, the United States has other opportunities to strengthen Ukraine with long-range missile weapons. Given the expected supply of F-16 fighters to Ukraine, the United States will be responsible for providing weapons – it has a great JASSM missile that is integrated into this aircraft. Its parameters are similar to the Storm Shadow. In my opinion, air-launched missiles are more effective than other missile systems. At the same time, if the United States supplies both JASSM and ATACMS, I think no one will be against it,” Katkov said.
