Upgraded Russian Lancet drones can fly up to 70 km - OC South
Operational Command South's spokesperson Natalia Humeniuk says that the Russian forces were able to modernize Lancet drones and increase their range to 70 km
Humeniuk reported this on Espreso TV.
"Now the Russians can resort to modernizing their weapons. They also continue to improve their drones. It is not for nothing that our war is called the war of drones. Today, more and more often the fighting is moving into the air," explained Humeniuk.
The spokesperson added that Russians have increased drone attacks from the temporarily occupied territories.
"Even when our counter-battery fight is successful, and we knock out the enemy's artillery, the Russians are increasingly using attack drones from the temporarily occupied territory on the left bank of the Dnipro River. In particular, those that drop explosive fragmentation munitions. As for their Lancet drones, the Russians have indeed recently begun to show the wonders of their technical improvement. If earlier these drones used to barrage at a distance of up to 40 km, now their flight capabilities have increased to 60-70 km," she added.
