UN will submit resolution in support of peace in Ukraine this week - Zelenskyy
Resolution in support of peace in Ukraine to be submitted to the UN General Assembly in New York this week
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this during a briefing with US President Joe Biden.
“Already this week in New York, together with the United States and almost 60 other countries, we are submitting a resolution to the General Assembly in support of peace in Ukraine. On the eve of February 24, the approval of this resolution will be the first, strong evidence that terrorist forces will never break civilized rules,” Zelenskyy said.
He emphasized that the involvement of the United States in the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula is important. The President of Ukraine also added that there are no alternatives to the establishment of an international special tribunal for Russian aggression.
