The spokesman for Guterres highlighted the systematic nature of war crimes committed by Russia.
"Regrettably, this is not an isolated incident," Dujarric stated.
Furthermore, the UN Secretary-General's spokesperson stated that the UN human rights monitoring mission in Ukraine was shocked by the horrific video and has reported various violations of international humanitarian law, specifically related to prisoners of war.
Dujarric stated that the UN Secretary-General demands that those responsible for such actions be held accountable. He emphasized that even the slightest transgressions must be thoroughly investigated, and the perpetrators must be brought to justice.
