UN humanitarian convoy arrived to Severodonetsk - Gaidai
Humanitarian aid was delivered to Severodonetsk in the Luhansk region for 17,000 residents
This was announced by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Sergiy Gaidai.
"The United Nations and its partners have delivered eight truckloads of critical supplies to the people of Severodonetsk", he said.
The humanitarian convoy brought food, flour, plastic sheets and blankets for nearly 17,000 people, as well as four power generators for hospitals from the United Nations Refugee Agency, the World Food Programme, UNICEF, the international NGO "People in Need" and the International Organization for Migration ( IOM).
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society will provide assistance to those who need it most, in particular to people who remain in their homes or are in shelters near Severodonetsk.
