This was stated by the chairman of the commission, Erik Møse, to Babel.
The UN Human Rights Council is to decide whether to extend the commission's mandate.
"The Commission appreciates the public statements of support from member states and civil society organizations," said Møse.
As for the genocide, the commission will draw conclusions on the basis of the evidence collected, as it does not have access to the occupied territories. The commission analyzes information from various sources and gives them an impartial assessment, Møse emphasized.
On March 16, the head of the UN International Commission of Inquiry, Erik Møse, said there was no evidence of genocide against Ukrainians.
